With TrafficScene®, you're always on top on the situation. McQ has developed a sensor system to detect when trucks are forced to use truck run off ramps because of brake overheating or mechanical problems on downhill stretches of highway.
TrafficScene® uses sensors to detect when a truck enters an emergency run off ramp and automatically images the event. The unit sends an alarm message with pictures to a State Department of Transportation operations center to alert them that a tow vehicle is needed to extract the truck from the ramp and if there is a hazardous situation.
